VEEM Propellers have launched the industry’s very first propeller calculator that can give you a size and price estimate on the spot.
The calculator, which involves simple and a more advanced input options, is based on over 50 years of extensive test data and research and boasts industry-leading accuracy.
The VEEM ‘Quick Prop Calculator’ is now available on the VEEM Propellers website and has been expertly created to give an accurate size and quote estimate with as little as eight fields. The ‘Quick Prop Calculator’ also gives users the option to save results, see alternative options and order the propeller(s) online.

With nothing similar in the marine industry currently available, VEEM predict the new ‘Quick Prop Calc’ will soon become an integral tool in the boat and yacht design process by supplying the optimal propeller diameter for a given engine and gear ratio selection for any vessel over 26 ft.

The ‘Quick Calculator’ is the first propeller calculator to be released by VEEM propellers in 2014 and will be followed by a series of other tools that will help boat builders and owners improve the performance of their vessels. Participants will soon have the option to move to the VEEM Full Calc and input more vessel specific data for a more accurate sizing and quote.
