Through the use of ‘shock-free’ blade sections and optimised blade area, the propeller maintains smooth hydrodynamic flow across the blade surface, reducing abrupt pressure changes that can lead to cavitation, noise, and load variation. Flow-aligned rudders. VEEM’s twisted, flow-aligned rudders are designed to work in harmony with the propeller and shaft line to minimise turbulence and maximise lift. Using advanced profiles inspired by high-performance hydrodynamic geometry, these rudders significantly reduce drag while enhancing course stability, handling, and responsiveness.

Precision-engineered shafts. VEEM manufactures complete shaft line solutions (splined or tapered) engineered for higher strength, reduced stress, and improved hydrodynamic performance. Our latest generation shaft geometry allows for smaller diameters, reducing drag and improving flow into the propeller.

V and P Brackets. VEEM V and P brackets are designed as hydrodynamic components – not just structural supports. Their flow-aligned form reduces resistance, improves water delivery to the propeller, and complements the reduced shaft diameters achievable with VEEM’s latest designs.
