V and P Brackets

VEEM’s V and P brackets are hydrodynamically refined shaft supports designed to deliver exceptional rigidity, alignment accuracy, and reduced underwater drag. Manufactured in either NiBrAl or the high-strength VEEM Extreme alloy, both bracket styles are fully CNC-machined to achieve precise geometry and smooth waterflow into the propeller. V-brackets provide dual-leg stability for higher load applications, while P-brackets offer a compact single-leg configuration ideal for a wider range of vessel designs. Together, they form a critical part of VEEM’s integrated, flow-aligned shaft line system ensuring smoother operation, lower vibration, and improved overall propulsion efficiency.

Tested. Witnessed. Verified.

Our performance numbers are backed by sea trials independently witnessed by Lloyd’s Register, with efficiency and speed improvements verified under controlled test conditions. Testing compared the VEEM Extreme propellers, VEEM Nibral propellers, and the VEEM Extreme flow-aligned rudder against industry-standard propulsion systems, including a Class 1 finished propeller and flat-plate rudder.
